A Cheonan-based local company that has led sharing initiatives for underprivileged communities for the past 10 years is once again warming hearts by practicing generosity ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

Saerom FS Co., Ltd. (CEO: Young-min Noh) delivered 300 kg of Snow Chicken Breast on September 30 last month to the Cheonan City Volunteer Center (Director: Yong-seok Kim) and the Hanjul-Dujul Sharing Volunteer Group (Leader: Gi-chun Kim) as part of its support for underprivileged communities.

The Cheonan City Volunteer Center stated that the donated items were carefully distributed to local welfare institutions and elderly individuals living alone through organizations such as the Hanjul-Dujul Sharing Volunteer Group.

Through this donation, Saerom FS expressed its hope that the support would provide some comfort to those facing hardship and social isolation in the community, adding that the company plans to continue providing goods and carrying out ongoing social contribution activities in the future.

Director Yong-seok Kim of the Cheonan City Volunteer Center and Leader Gi-chun Kim of the volunteer group said,

“We are grateful that a local company has joined us in sharing with underprivileged neighbors, and we hope that this initiative will serve as an opportunity to further spread the culture of sharing.”

Saerom FS has consistently practiced sharing through various charitable activities, including a donation of KRW 40 million for children with leukemia and pediatric cancer. In recognition of these efforts, the company was selected as an Excellent Family-Friendly Company in 2023 and received a commendation from the Governor of Chungcheongnam-do.

CEO Young-min Noh stated,

“As a company that has grown together with the local community, it is only right for us to give back. We will continue our social contribution activities for underprivileged communities on a consistent basis, not as a one-time effort.”
